Director of Sales - West Coast

Summary

Based in Los Angeles, Zehner is one of the fast-growing digital agencies in North America and a premiere agency partner of Shopify Plus. The Director of Sales position will help to identify and shape a go-to-market strategy to drive revenue growth for Zehner’s product offerings spanning eCommerce, Digital Product, and Marketing (with a focus on eCommerce). The ideal candidate has delivered results in a digital agency and ecommerce environment and has sold complex solutions to clients that range from start-up, mid-market, and the enterprise level.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • In collaboration with business development team, target, and prospect new opportunities, develop and mature sales vertical(s)
  • Work closely with all partners to pass leads and orchestrate a collaborative sales process for joint prospective customers
  • Gather and document requirements from prospective clients to align Zehner’s offerings with client needs
  • Collaborate with Zehner’s Delivery team to formulate custom solutions and pricing proposals
  • Drive end-to-end sales cycles from lead generation to close
  • Ensure and facilitate sales handoff process to Delivery team anchored in seamless, supported transfer of knowledge and relationships
  • Regularly network and engage in the broader eCommerce industry
  • Stay on top of eCommerce industry and technology trends and share learnings with colleagues

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of direct sales experience in Digital Agency, Systems Integrator, or eCommerce Software organization. Experience co-selling with technology/services partners
  • Committed to the highest standards of professionalism and quality, in words, conduct, and work product
  • Professional self-presentation and communication in all forms
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, exciting environment while managing multiple priorities
  • Generous with giving and receiving constructive feedback
  • Degree in Business/Sales/Marketing is an asset
  • Location is flexible, Zehner supports working from home/anywhere
