Project managers are accountable for creating the roadmap and leading the journey of taking a concept through concrete deliverable of a digital product. The success or failure of a project depends on having clear goals, a defined scope, and a definite start and end. A successful Project Manager defines a product vision, manages a product roadmap, resource allocation, and prioritization, and coordinates engineering and design to deliver exceptional digital products that enhance the client’s customer experience and business value. Product/Project managers must be technically literate to execute their jobs well and adept with the soft skills of relationship management and communication across all stakeholders.

As a digital product-focused Project Manager, you will apply project management principles and tools to conceptualize, design, develop, and deliver new products to our clients. You will lead cross-functional teams that include brand strategists, information architects, designers, software engineers, and client-side product managers across multiple offices, outside agencies, and multiple time zones. On a daily basis, a successful Project Manager exercises skills and influence in:

  • Project manage our clients’ multi-track digital product deliverables, including custom tech/product development, end-user-facing apps, backend, partner integrations, reporting, and other APIs
  • Set product strategy, prioritize features, build consensus, and coordinate product schedules with colleagues spanning internal and external/remote teams, including outside agencies and clients
  • Guide conceptualization, design, development, and release of new features and products
  • Own estimation, budgeting, development forecasting
  • Conduct risk and issue management planning, identification, analysis, and monitoring of projects with senior members on the team
  • Plan, baseline, and control costs to ensure projects are completed within the approved budget
  • Own product development roadmap, including sprint planning and product requirement documents
  • Collaborate with design team to develop wireframes and mockups, shaping the user experience
  • Define milestones for release, scope/prioritize features, coordinate timing with other business activities, manage backlogs, and estimate work
  • Support engineering, quality assurance, and customer service teams through document writing
  • Facilitate team meetings and Scrum events
  • Define and re-frame product requirements for a remote engineering team
  • Regularly update internal and external stakeholders on product statuses


  • 3 years previous product/project management experience in digital development
  • Experience with use and configuration of one or more Agile development management tools, such as JIRA, VersionOne, Rally, or LeanKit
  • Familiarity with user experience and user interface best practices across web and mobile
  • Familiarity with iOS and Android requirements
  • Strong understanding of SDLC benefits and shortcomings
  • Attention to detail and highly organized
  • Self-directed and self-driven
  • Clear communicator in both written and spoken forms
  • Excellent relationship manager
  • Professional presentation of self
